Branford Police Department Is Hiring

Branford, CT - Looking for a new job? The Town of Branford is looking to add a new officer to the Branford Police Department.

The town's Human Resources Department is actively recruiting a future police officer for the 40-hour-per week position.

The BPD posted the notice yesterday and is seeking applicants for the $57,616-$74,588 position. (Recruit officer-Lateral entry officer.)

The town is accepting applications through October 11 at 8:00 a.m.

According to the job posting, job seekers need to meet the following minimum requirements:

"Applicants must be 21 years of age, a US Citizen, hold a valid driver’s license and be able to pass examinations that include written, oral, physical agility, polygraph, psychological and medical along with an intensive background check. Applicant must be a non-smoker."
