Branford Police Welcomes Its Newest Patrol Officer

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Police Department welcomed its newest member Monday.

"Please join us in welcoming Branford PD’s newest member of the Patrol Division, Officer Matthew Siwek," police posted to Facebook.

Siwek graduated from North Haven High School, attended classes at Gateway Community College and worked for Yale Security for four years.

"After that experience, Siwek achieved his goal of becoming a police officer and in November, he graduated from Session 23 of the New Britain Police Academy," police wrote. "We look forward to many years of Officer Siwek serving the Town of Branford. Please join us in wishing him a safe and successful career."
