Head's-Up: Just Days Left To Submit Appeal To Assessment Board

Hearings for the Board of Assessment Appeals are soon to begin for real estate, personal property and motor vehicles.

BRANFORD, CT — Hearings for the Board of Assessment Appeals are scheduled to begin in March for real estate and personal property for the October 1, 2024 Grand List. Motor vehicles for the 2023 supplemental Grand List are also heard at this time.

Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. Feb. 20 to the Board of Assessment Appeals at the Assessor’s office. Any application received after that date will not be heard, town officials noted.

Applications are available here or in the Assessor’s Office located on the first floor of Branford Town Hall, 1019 Main St.
