Head's-Up: Just Days Left To Submit Appeal To Assessment Board

BRANFORD, CT — Hearings for the Board of Assessment Appeals are scheduled to begin in March for real estate and personal property for the October 1, 2024 Grand List. Motor vehicles for the 2023 supplemental Grand List are also heard at this time.

Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. Feb. 20 to the Board of Assessment Appeals at the Assessor’s office. Any application received after that date will not be heard, town officials noted.

Hearing dates and times will be scheduled for the month of March. Taxpayers will be notified of their hearing time and date by mail.
