Man Brandishes Loaded Gun During Argument Over Online Subway Order: PD

Monday night, a 58-year-old New Haven man, angry over a food order, pulled a loaded Glock inside a Branford Subway shop, police said.

BRANFORD, CT — Monday, around 6:30 p.m., a New Haven man brandished a firearm inside the Subway shop on North Main Street during a verbal argument over an online food order, police said.

Branford officers, who responded immediately, saw the suspect's car traveling on North Main Street near Cedar Street, and conducted a traffic stop, police said.

The driver, Curt Carbone, 58, of New Haven was taken into custody without incident, police said, and seized a loaded Glock 9mm that was described by witnesses," police said.

Curt Carbone was charged with second-degree threatening, two counts of second-degree breach of peace 2nd, and two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and was released after posting a $15,000 bond.
