North Haven Student Receives Dental Assisting Scholarship
Porter and Chester Institute dental assisting student Taryn Pierce has been named as a recipient of the Juliette A. Southard Scholarship.

From the Porter And Chester Institute: Porter and Chester Institute dental assisting student Taryn Pierce has been named as a recipient of the Juliette A. Southard Scholarship. Pierce is currently enrolled at the Branford campus.
The award is funded annually by the American Dental Assistants Association and honors the memory of its founder, Juliette A. Southard. The award is offered to provide tuition assistance for dental assisting students. Criteria for awarding the scholarship include enrollment in a dental assisting education program, academic records, ADAA membership and stated intent of pursuing a career in dental assisting.
Pierce is from North Haven, Connecticut where she currently resides with mom, four sisters, and brother. She is a graduate of North Haven High School where she was active in Art Honor Society, Art Club, Theater Club, and Best Buddies.
