Police Investigate 'Concerning' Branford High Student Social Post
After meeting with the student and their parent/guardian, police concluded the social media post "did not pose a threat to the school."

BRANFORD, CT — Police investigated a social media post made by a Branford High School that they described as "concerning."
After meeting with the student and their parent/guardian, police concluded the post "did not pose a threat to the school."
As Branford police posted to their Facebook page, cops were "informed of a post circulating social media," and, in coordination with Branford High School officials, located the juvenile student and spoke with both the juvenile and the guardian of the juvenile, to further investigate this incident."

"The investigation concluded that the post did not pose a threat to the school. There were no other students involved, no other indications of threats, and there are no other postings suggesting threats.," police said. "The posting has since been removed. School officials intend to proceed with school as scheduled," police noted as the investigation was done Sunday.
