Polish National Police Force Commanders Visit Branford PD
Seven high-ranking Polish police officials visited the Branford department Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Seven high-ranking Polish police officials visited Branford Police yesterday as part of policing cooperative relationship with the University of New Haven.
The delegation included two generals that operate as the organizations Second in Command of the agencies 100,000 police officers and 20,000 support civilians and five Colonels who oversee major divisions, including State Provinces, Investigative Service, Training Academy and International Cooperation.

Branford Police Department was chosen to host the Polish Commanders because of the innovative problem solving methods and current technologies that are being used by the department to reduce crime.
After presentations by Chief Kevin Halloran and Captain Geoffrey Morgan, the delegation toured The Thimble Islands on Long Island Sound with members of the Branford Police Department’s Marine Unit.
