Rep. Robin Comey To Host Human Trafficking Awareness Roundtable
The discussion focuses on relevant legislation, what families can do to protect children, and what makes someone vulnerable to trafficking.
BRANFORD, CT — State Rep. Robin Comey (D—Branford) is set to host a Human Trafficking Awareness Roundtable discussion on legislation and how to protect children.
Comey will moderate the roundtable created to raise awareness about human trafficking. The discussion will center around relevant legislation, what families can do to protect their children, red flags community members can look out for, and what makes someone vulnerable to trafficking.
January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

Also participating in the roundtable are Tamarra Clark, Director of US Survivor Care for Love 146,
Ken Mysogland, the state Department of Children and Families Bureau Chief of External Affairs and Lori Blackburn, of Underground New England.
The even is set for Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon, in the James Blackstone Memorial Library auditorium, 758 Main St., Branford.
