3 Arrested On Narcotics Charges After Bridgeport Shootings: Police
The investigation is ongoing, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Three people were arrested Wednesday on Route 8 in Bridgeport following the two shootings that resulted in injuries to three people, according to Bridgeport police.
The possible involvement of the three suspects in one of the shootings on Sheridan Street in Bridgeport remains under investigation, but police referred to the chase and crash of the suspects' vehicle on Route 8 "a byproduct of the shooting."
"The vehicle fit the general description of the vehicle involved in the shooting" wrote the city's Public Information Officer Shawnna White in a statement. "Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but they fled onto Route 8 which prompted the chase and resulted in a crash and arrests. The vehicle contained narcotics."

Two people were injured when they were shot during the Sheridan Street incident, but at this time, the three suspects have only been charged with narcotics violations.
A third person was also shot Wednesday night in the Newfield Avenue and Clifford Street area, and police are investigating to determine whether the two shootings are connected. The victim in this shooting is in stable condition; the statuses of the other two victims are not known, but both have undergone surgeries.

The three arrested are:
Dylan Durkin, 23, of Milford:
- Possession w/ intent narcotic substance
- Possession intent, ½ oz cocaine
- Interfering w/officers, resisting
Bond set at $35,000
Damien Hazel, 26, of Bridgeport:
- Engaging police in pursuit
- Interfering w/officers, resisting
- Reckless driving
- Possession intent, ½ oz cocaine
- 1st degree reckless endangerment
- Evading, physical injury
- Failure to insure private motor vehicle
- Possession w/intent narcotic substance
Bond set at $81,000
Nicolas Vega, 25, of Ansonia:
- Possession w/intent narcotic substance
- Possession intent, ½ oz cocaine
- Interfering w/officers, resisting
Bond set at $35,000
