Arrest Made In Bridgeport Barber's Murder: Report
Police have made an arrest in connection with the murder of Deon Rodney, a beloved local barber.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man who police accused of killing a beloved city barber was arrested Monday night, reports the Connecticut Post. Mark Christian, 32, was arrested in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Deon Rodney that took place at the Just Right Cutz barber shop on Oct. 14.
Police said Christian and another man robbed a customer in the shop's parking lot. When Rodney tried to stop one of the attackers, he was shot by Christian, police allege.
Police said Rodney was protecting a young boy during the incident. Rodney had just finished cutting the boy's hair, according to barbershop owner Justin Riley. He was credited for saving those in the barbershop at the time of the attack.
