Cintia Balog, 8, of the Black Rock School was given the opportunity through a nonprofit called Do It For The Love thanks to the work of her school nurse. School Nurse Sherri Knapp and Cintia spent a significant amount of time together over the past school year, as Cintia suffers from a rare neurological disease. Knapp tried unsuccessfully to reach out to the Canadian Popstar via social media, but then connected with the nonprofit to get the ball rolling.
