Bridgeport Man Charged In Crash That Killed Elderly Woman: Report

A man was charged in connection with a crash that killed an 86-year-old woman in April.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Bridgeport man was charged in connection with a crash that killed an 86-year-old Southbury woman in April, reports the Daily Voice. Terrelle Anderson, 32, was arrested in connection with the April 4 crash on Mt. Pleasant Road.

Lt. Aaron Bahamonde said a car driven by Anderson crossed over the double center line and collided with the car Delores Hake was riding in. Anderson was transported to Danbury hospital with serious injuries. Hake was later pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital.

Forrest Herron, 86, of Southbury who was driving the other car was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
