Bridgeport Man Dies In Workplace Accident: Report

Police say the man was found at the scene with a severe head wound and believed he was also in cardiac arrest.

ANSONIA, CT — A Bridgeport man died Saturday after a tow motor vehicle rolled over on North Prospect Street Extension, reports the Connecticut Post. Mazhar Kan, 47, of Bridgeport was found on scene near an overturned tow motor with a severe head injury.

A tow motor is used to move materials over a short distance, according to the report. Khan was also believed to have been in cardiac arrest.

Ansonia police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
