Bridgeport Resident Hits Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was sold in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $25,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Stratford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Tuesday, the person claimed a winning 200X 4th Edition ticket that was bought at Sam's News on Access Road.

The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.

The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in September, and as of Thursday, all three grand prizes of $1 million remained unclaimed.

More than 2.5 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
