Bridgeport Teens Had Loaded Handgun, Police Say: Report

Three teenagers were arrested after they were stopped with a loaded handgun.

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Two 18-year-olds and a 17-year-old minor were arrested with a loaded handgun in a car, reports the Connecticut Post. Joshua DeJesus, 18, and Jaszae Vasquez, 18, and the minor were found after they were stopped on Huntington Turnpike.

Police say they saw the teens in black hooded sweatshirts with the hoods on, and found it suspicious that the teens would be wearing those clothes on a warm day.

The 17-year-old teen claimed he found the handgun at the "Puerto Rican Parade," according to the report.
