BRIDGEPORT, CT — A woman was arrested Wednesday night on a manslaughter charge after an assault that <a href="http://www.ctpost.com/local/article/1-charged-in-Bridgeport-assault-recently-ruled-a-11730138.php" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">led to a man's death</a>, according to a report from the Connecticut Post. Latia Quarles, 23, of Bridgeport was arrested in connection with the April attack. Police say they responded to St. Vincent's Medical Center on April 27 for an assault victim, and witnesses told police that 26-year-old Victor Diaz had been assaulted. Diaz suffered an asthma attack and died three days later. His death has been ruled a homicide.
