“We value law enforcement’s dedication and bravery every single day,” CFJ President and CEO Debra Greenwood said. “This is just our way of reminding them we appreciate everything they do.”
Police chiefs from Monroe, Fairfield, Trumbull, Easton, Stratford, Trumbull and Bridgeport are expected to attend along with retired Police Chief Gary MacNamara, executive director of public safety and government affairs at Sacred Heart University, who will speak about the importance of partnerships between local police and agencies like CFJ.
“We all work together to support victims of domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse,” Greenwood said. “We have collaborated with many skilled police officers who approach their work with skill and compassion. Those partnerships are so vital to our work.”
