Fire Temporarily Displaces 8 In Bridgeport: Fire Officials

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A morning structure fire Wednesday in the 50 block of Sedgewick Street in Bridgeport has left six adults and two children displaced, according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported in the 9 a.m. fire, which officials said was visible in the rear of the building when firefighters arrived.

The blaze was quickly extinguished, and the Bridgeport Fire Marshal's Office is investigating its cause.
