Man Punched Corrections Officer While Being Released From Prison: Report
The man was just a few steps away from his freedom, police said.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Just moments before earning his freedom, a man being released from prison was thrown right back behind bars after he assaulted a corrections officer, police said according to a report from the Connecticut Post.
Marcus Colon, 23, of Stamford allegedly punched the officer, who told him "don't come back," as colon was leaving the Bridgeport Correctional Center.
Colon served nine months in jail for a larceny conviction.
