Sentence Handed Down In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash Case In Bridgeport: Report
Rafael Davila, 52, was struck and killed in Bridgeport in January 2023.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Nathan Roman, a 22-year-old Bridgeport man, was sentenced last week to seven years in prison in connection with the January 2023 hit-and-run crash that killed 52-year-old pedestrian Rafael Davila, the Connecticut Post reported.
Davila was struck and killed by a car — which police later determined was driven by Roman — at the intersection of East Main and Pulaski streets in Bridgeport.
Earlier this year, Roman reportedly pleaded guilty to evading responsibility in a fatal crash and misconduct with a motor vehicle.
