Laura is a dedicated teacher who goes above and beyond to make sure her students have the resources they need to cultivate a love for reading. She spends time on the weekends and in the summer searching out resources for high quality books to add to the school library. With budgets being slashed left and right, it is up to educators to find creative ways to keep up with the learning demands of their students.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Laura has been working so long in the city that she is reaching a 2nd generation of students. When parents visit with their children during back to school days, some of the students are able to introduce their own children to the librarian who helped them develop their own love for reading.
