If you witnessed a car accident today on Collinsville Road (Route 179) around 4:20 p.m. in which a white pick up truck traveling south crossed the center median and nearly hit a beige Toyota Camry traveling north head on, causing the camry to swerve and spin into the side-rail, please contact the Burlington Police Department (860) 673-4856.
The pick up truck then fled the scene. If you are the good samaritan that chased down the truck to get its plate number, thank you! But, we need you to call the Burlington Police Department too because they can't do anything without your testimony. The driver of the truck is denying everything.
