A Cheshire resident won $50,000 on a CA$H PLU$ scratch ticket that was sold at Sunshine Convenience Store at 539 West Main St. in Cheshire, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
