The resident bought the winning "Lucky for Life" ticket at Sunshine Convenience Store at 539 West Main St. in Cheshire, according to lottery officials. LUCKY FOR LIFE gives players the chance to win either $1,000 a day for life or $25,000 a year for life. To land that prize, players must match five numbers. The odds of doing so are 1 in 1,813,028. The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners' names without their written consent in accordance with a <a href="https://www.cga.ct.gov/2025/act/Pa/pdf/2025PA-00112-R00SB-01235-PA.PDF" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">new Connecticut law</a>, which was effective Oct.1, 2025.
