CHESHIRE, CT – The Cheshire Town Council has approved a town-wide storm debris collection as a way to help town residents clean up after last week's tropical storm.
Public Works crews will collect brush and branches placed at the curbside beginning Monday. Brush and branches of 8" in diameter or smaller will be collected. Leaves, grass, clippings, bulky waste, bags and trash will not be collected.
Crews are expected to make one pass through the town and complete the collection in four to eight weeks, depending on the amount of debris.
