Occupation:

Regional Sales, 23 years

Family:
I have a wife and two children ages 10 and 8.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
No

Why are you seeking this office?
I am looking to use my experience as a business leader and apply those skills in a practical and professional way to benefit the town.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Tax increases as a result of budget mismanagement. I intend to propose a zero base budgeting approach, make difficult decisions on wants vs needs, and ensure the town is being managed in a fiscally responsible manner.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I don't have previous experience in politics. I view this as a positive as I won't feel pressured to conform to political norms. I will do what I feel is best for the town regardless of situation.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Taxes are the biggest one, but also management of open space, traffic safety, our schools, etc.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have a record of leading high performing business teams and working with business stakeholders across many companies to drive results.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
I was given two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen 2X more than you speak. And when you do speak, do so with intelligence and conviction.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am a moderate Republican and will focus on accountability, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.
