Cheshire Resident Wins $243K Lottery Prize

The winning ticket was sold in a nearby town, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

CHESHIRE, CT — A Cheshire resident recently won more than $243,000 on a winning lottery ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $243,241 on a FAST PLAY - $10 HIGH ROLLER PROGRESSIVE ticket that was sold at Southington Quick Mart LLC at 1611 Meriden Waterbury Turnpike in the Marion section of Southington, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
