Cheshire Residents Receive QU Center for Excellence Awards
Quinnipiac University honors four Cheshire residents with awards for teaching and service to students.
Cheshire's Dwayne Boucaud, associate professor of biomedical sciences and Kathleen Simione, associate professor of accounting were recognized this week with the Excellence in Teaching awards.
Lisa Delaney, staff nurse in the Health and Wellness Center, and Jill Ferrall, assistant dean for career development were also recognized this week with the Excellence in Service to Students awards.
This is the ninth year Quinnipiac has presented the awards through its Center for Excellence in Teaching and Service to Students.President John L. Lahey presented the awards Wednesday on campus.

The names of the honorees – selected from a pool of nominations by faculty, staff, students, alumni and parents – were engraved on a stone sculpture displayed in the Arnold Bernhard Library.
The recipients were also recognized at a reception with the board of trustees, received a cash prize and will be featured in a promotional brochure to be used throughout the year in Quinnipiac's public relations efforts.
