Cheshire Restaurant Offers Special Deals On ‘Stressful’ Election Day

As the divisive presidential election comes to a close, a restaurant is looking to bring people together with special deals on Election Day.

CHESHIRE, CT — As this year’s divisive presidential election comes to a close, a Cheshire restaurant is looking to bring people together with special deals on Election Day.

In a post on Facebook, Viron Rondo Osteria said that as voters officially cast their ballots for president, “a contest that has been stressful, suspenseful and intriguing. We think we all need a break, and some socialization on Election Day, Nov. 5.”

Viron Rondo Osteria, located at 1721 Highland Avenue in Cheshire, will be hosting an all-day “Social Hour” on Nov. 5, Election Day, featuring its reduced price Social Hour menu and cocktails throughout the whole restaurant, beginning at 11 a.m., according to the post.

“Meet your friends, stop by after voting, watch election coverage, take a breath with us that day,” the post reads. “The televisions will be on, our staff is at your service and of course, our special menu and cocktails...always the right choice, no matter what.”
