Congratulations and best wishes were plentiful this week for Diane DiPietro, who is retiring as the assistant principal at The Cheshire School Board recognized DiPietro this week for her 23 years of service to the school district. Superintendent of Schools Greg Florio noted that DiPietro had been recognized by the Connecticut Association of Schools as an assistant principal of the year. The award, in 2004, was given to just three administrators in the state. Those honored by the association are chosen for their leadership skills and service to their communities and the profession.
