Historic Banquet Facility On The Market In Cheshire
Two popular restaurants are for sale in Cheshire.

CHESHIRE, CT — The historic Waverly Inn restaurant and banquet facility is on the market in Cheshire, according to multiple reports. The Cheshire Herald reports the current asking price for The Waverly Inn is $425,000 and there are about two to three interested buyers at this point.
The owners say they want to sell to someone who will “honor” the Waverly tradition, according to the Cheshire Herald. They are also assuring customers, and employees, that all future events, gift cards and anything else associated with the restaurant will be honored.
The Waverly Inn, located at 286 Maple Ave., was built in 1896 and “has been a staple in Cheshire since the 19th century,” according to a post on its website. “Specializing in American fare, the experienced chefs put care and creativity into every dish. The Waverly Inn also hosts events such as wedding, baby showers, bereavements, and birthdays in its Oak and Tuscan Rooms, which can accommodate parties as small as 10 guests and as many as 150 hundred guests.”

The Waterbury Republican-American reports Kyle Cipully, who co-owns The Waverly Inn with his father August Cipully, said the family made the decision to sell after his father had health issues last year.
Another popular Cheshire restaurant is also on the market. The Watch Factory, located at 122 Elm St., is listed for $250,000 as owner Markus Patch has decided it’s time to retire, according to the Republican-American.
