Leaf Collection Details Announced In Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — The town’s leaf collection will begin on Monday, Nov. 3.
Residents can bring leaves in biodegradable bags for disposal at the Public Works Garage, 1286 Waterbury Road on Monday mornings from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, Nov. 10, Nov. 17, Nov. 24, Dec. 1, and Dec. 8.

For curbside collection: leaves must be placed curbside in biodegradable bags before 7 a.m. Mondays for pickup by the Public Works Department according to the following schedule.
Nov. 3 – Nov. 7 – Entire Town.

Week of Nov. 10*: All residences EAST side of Route 10 (Wallingford side) *Tuesday, Nov. 11 is Veterans Day observed and there will not be any collections.
Week of Nov. 17: All residences WEST of Route 10 (Waterbury side)
Week of Nov. 24: All residences EAST side of Route 10 (Wallingford side)
Week of Dec. 1: All residences WEST of Route 10 (Waterbury side)
Week of Dec. 8: All streets
