Just in time for winter weather, the Cheshire Public Library is ready to shelter residents from the storm.
A new wooden portico at the back entrance will keep the elements away as patrons enter and exit the rear doors. The roof also protects the book deposit area.
The construction extends over the landing at the top of the stairs leading from the parking lot. Work on the extended roof began last week.
