Sex Offenders in Cheshire on Notice

The state Department of Corrections will monitor sex offenders on Halloween.

State parole officers will conduct surveillance and make unannounced home visits to sex offenders in Cheshire and across the state during Halloween.

The state's sex offender registry shows six offenders live in Cheshire. Their offenses and other information is available on the state's list.

A “no contact with minors” restriction has been reinforced with these offenders in advance of the holiday, according to a statement from the state Department of Corrections (DOC)
