STUPENDOUS SEASON FOR THE 2023 CHESHIRE HIGH SCHOOL BOYS VOLLEYBALL TEAMS

The 2023 Cheshire High School Varsity Boys Volleyball Team had a stupendous season. Last year their record was 15 wins and 7 losses. This year the Rams improved with 21 wins and 5 losses according to the CT Insider.com. They won the 2023 SCC Championship against Shelton on May 26, 2023, after losing to them last year. Prior to that the Rams defeated Shelton two times during the regular season. Not only that they defeated their next door neighbors at Southington High School, the Blue Knights two times.

The Rams made it into the post-season play for the CIAC Class M State Tournament Semi-Finals in Hartford where they played Farmington High School and won three matches to two for Farmington. This win brought them to the CIAC State Boys Volleyball Tournament on Friday, June 9, 2023 also in Hartford against Masuk High School. The Rams Boy Varsity Team won the 2023 Class M Runner Up Award after this game. Each member of the team received medals for their efforts and for going the distance in the CIAC Post Season Playoffs. That says a lot about this team. Their hard work did pay off. Great Team Effort!
