Two-car Accident in Cheshire Requires Extrication
An accident near Cheshire Town Hall closes road while firefighters extricate driver.
The accident looked worse than it was, but two females were taken to local hospitals Monday afternoon, according to police, after an accident near Cheshire Town Hall.
Cheshire police spokesman Lt. James Fasano said one car pulled out of Church Drive to go north on South Main Street and pulled into another car heading south.
"The car was hit on the left side. It required extrication because a door wouldn't open, Fasano said.

The car leaving Church Drive had two passengers who weren't hurt, Fasano said. The accident report has not been filed, so the names of the drivers were not available, he added.
