DANBURY, CT — Christopher Arthur Lee of Danbury, age 53, died after a brief battle with cancer at Bridgeport Hospital on August 6, 2016. Chris was born in Middletown, CT on June 23, 1963, to William and Cynthia Lee. He was married to Carolyn Foote for eighteen years, and is succeeded by his two sons Jeffrey Gandalf Lee, and Joel Christopher Lee. He also leaves his brother Brian A. Lee and nephews John (Teresa) Williams, Eren, Nicholas, and niece Faith.
He was proud of his extended sobriety and was grateful for the kindness of his support network and DRS family. He was a lover of literature, namely sci-fi and fantasy, and of music such as the works of Frank Zappa, The Ramones, and The Who. His offbeat sense of humor was never at another's expense and is a quality that will be missed. He always strove to be honest and to do the best for his fellow man.
"Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. I have found that it is the small every-day deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love." - Gandalf, his favorite hero.
