DANBURY, CT — Hundreds gathered on Clapboard Ridge Road Monday for a vigil in honor of a city man killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening. Ariel Suero, 23, was driving a motorcycle at a "high rate of speed" north on Clapboard Ridge Road before striking two cars, according to Danbury Police.
Police say that preliminary investigation reveals that Suero passed through the Clapboard Ridge Road and Beckerle St. intersection when he struck an Audi A6 driven by Grant Sorrentino, 18, of Danbury. Police say Suero's motorcycle continued to strike a Jeep Wrangler driven by Scott Decker, 29, of New Milford.
Suero was taken to Danbury Hospital where he died from his injuries. Police are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco or Officer Matthew Malone at 203-797-2157.
