Danbury Rising Art Expo Highlights Emerging Local Talent

Danbury Rising Art Expo debuts March 29, spotlighting student artists from local schools and colleges. Free, week-long public exhibit.

DANBURY, CT — CityCenter Danbury is set to launch the inaugural Danbury Rising Art Expo, a new event spotlighting emerging artists from local high schools and colleges across the region.

The free public exhibition will debut Saturday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m., at 9 Library Place, and will showcase the work of students from Western Connecticut State University, Naugatuck Valley Community College, Danbury High School, and other institutions. The event will be held in downtown Danbury and is open to art enthusiasts, collectors, and community members.

Attendees at the grand opening can meet the artists, take part in a live Q&A, and view a wide range of artwork. Complimentary refreshments will be provided by Mothership Bakery.

For those unable to attend the opening day, the exhibit will remain open for public viewing for one week.
