Holly Van Hise, 51, of Danbury, Passed Away
Holly graduated from St. Joseph's and Brookfield High and attended Wright State University and Naugatuck Valley Community College.
DANBURY, CT — Holly Van Hise, 51, of Danbury, CT, formerly of Brookfield, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Jon and Maureen (Hamilton) Van Hise of Brookfield.
Born in Danbury on Dec, 2, 1964, Holly was a lifelong area resident. Physically disabled at the age of ten, Holly graduated from St. Joseph's School in Brookfield and Brookfield High School and attended Wright State University in Dayton, OH and Naugatuck Community College.
An independent spirit, Holly loved to travel and visit friends and family from coast to coast over the years. Coming from a large family, Holly also loved babysitting many of her 14 nieces and nephews. In addition to this, Holly became an avid reader with mystery novels her favorite, often reading several books a week.

In addition to her parents, Holly is survived by her siblings: Daniel Van Hise of Temecula, CA, Laura Van Hise of Danbury, CT, David Van Hise of Telford, PA, Christian Van Hise of Sarasota, FL and Jennifer Maltby of Walpole, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Aug. 10, 2016 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Samuel V. Scott, Pastor, officiating. Interment followed in Central Cemetery, Brookfield. There were no calling hours.
