Hispanic Center Support Rally Thursday

The Hispanic Center of Danbury is at risk of closing its doors, said Executive Director Ingrid DiMarzo Wednesday.

Hispanic Center Executive Director Ingrid DiMarzo is asking people to visit the Hispanic Center, 4 Harmony St., Thursday at 3:30 p.m. to show support for the center.

The center's main funding source, CACD on North Street, is reported to have financial problems, and DiMarzo is worried her agency's funding may dry up because of those problems at CACD.

In a prepared release, DiMarzo said, "Save the Hispanic Center of Greater Danbury! The Hispanic Center of Danbury is at risk of closing its Doors!
