DANBURY, CT — Susan E. Johnson, 66, of Danbury, beloved wife of James H. Johnson, passed away unexpectedly, at Danbury Hospital, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.Susan was born in Danbury, daughter of the late Stephen and Harriet (Reeves) Noone.
She was a graduate of Danbury High School and had attended Norwalk State College. She had worked for the former Dayton Rogers Company and Pembroke Pumping. Susan was such a creative and talented woman. She loved baking, quilting, counted cross stitch and she loved her garden.In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by her sons; James S. Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA and Stephen Johnson and wife Kathleen of Danbury, her grandchildren: Alexis, Nicole, Georgia, Noah and Abel, as well as her sister Judith Coffey and husband Bill and brother Robert Noone and wife Geramy, all of Danbury, her brother David Noone and wife Elizabeth of Redding and her brother Peter Noone of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Interment followed at Wooster Cemetery.
