Women Stole Over $2k in Mall Theft Spree: Danbury PD
Police say the women hit six stores and stole over 70 items.

DANBURY, CT — Two Bridgeport women were arrested last week after stealing numerous items from several Danbury Mall stores. Police say Shanan Jordan, 31, and Dorothy Freelove, 29, stole over 70 items from six stores at the Danbury Fair Mall before being detained by mall security at 1:29 p.m. on May 26.
The two women stole items with a total value of $2,000, according to police. The stores included Pac Sun, Victoria's Secret and Forever 21. (To sign up for Danbury breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Both were charged with larceny in the third degree, conspiracy to commit larceny and organized retail theft. They were released after posting $2,500 bonds and given a court date of June 6.
