It seems that Mr. Miessau is no stranger to the East Haven Police Department too because his entitled attitude thinks that his Morgan Point Neighborhood is his personal playground and Connecticut traffic laws don’t apply to him!
On December 15, 2020 a Morgan Point neighbor spotted Miessau driving illegally on local roads in Morgan Point. When the EHPD arrived Officer Dean Bibens spotted the tractor in the driveway of 19 Hampton Rd. In the case/incident report Officer Bibens noted that Mr. Miessau’s wife denied that tractor was being driven and that a neighbor doesn’t like her family and that’s why the Police were called. Officer Bibens then told Mrs. Miessau not to drive the tractor on the main roads.
While this may not be a big issue, it shows the contempt Mr. Miessau has for following the law. How can a person who is fighting to gain a seat on the council actually believe that it is ok to break Connecticut Motor Vehicle Law? Wasn’t Miessau also under a cease and desist for 109 Old Town Highway? Wasn’t Miessau also being investigated for dropping millings on Sibley Lane so he can enrich himself on a new road to his Marina?

It seems that Candidate John J. Miessau doesn’t believe in the rule of law and will do anything he wishes at anytime he chooses. Is this the type of person you want to represent you in the Town of East Haven’s Town Council?
On November 4th Vote NO to candidate John J. Miessau.
