EAST HAVEN, CT — Heads-up folks driving around town beginning Oct. 13 as the milling and paving project that was on, then off, is back on again.
East Haven police posted to Facebook that the Public Works Department will be beginning a road milling / paving project Tuesday. It's expected to be completed over the course of several days and will impact travel/parking for some residents.
"Once you see Emergency No Parking signs on your street, please do your best to utilize off street parking until the project is complete," police noted. "If cars are in the street as crews come by, we will do our best to make contact with the owners, but will have to tow them if contact is unsuccessful."
