I Support The Tweed Expansion - Why Don't You?

If You Don't Support Tweed You Should

Here's an honest question and I would love an answer that is not purely from a selfish perspective of the opposers. Airports are necessary as are railways and highways; they all contribute to our daily lives in ways that without them could we survive? Perhaps we could but would we want to go back to horse and buggy and even then you have to clean up after the horses. The Industrial Revolution happened in the late 1800's early 1900's it's my favorite time to read about in history but I sure wouldn't want to be there. Jobs were scarce and money was tight. With progress comes the formation of jobs and a local economy that succeeds. We don't know and can't predict just how many new jobs will be created between the construction of the new terminal and the work on the runway or the job creation that comes when it's completed. The jobs created in the community when people stop after getting off the plane to get a bite to eat locally or stay the night in the new Hotel. The bigger picture isn't being looked at. I am not alone in my support for the expansion of Tweed's Terminal, runway or any improvements to the airport to make it safer. Someone has to live by airports, railways and highways and if you have chosen to make your home where there is any of these you will need to learn to either live with what comes with them or move to the country where perhaps the horse and cow situation might be the issue. It's all about what you as an individual can or can't live with. I have chosen my home close to this particular airport because it is so close to the beach and shoreline that I love living near.
