Pedestrian Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver, Road Closed Due To Investigation: East Haven PD
Police are searching for the suspect involved in the hit-and-run crash.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Update, Friday: Police say they have "identified and located the offending vehicle," as the investigation continues. Police said the victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.

Foxon Road westbound (toward New Haven) in the area of Mill Street is partially closed while police investigate a pedestrian struck incident.
"The offending vehicle, a black sedan, fled the scene at a high rate of speed and was last seen headed eastbound on Foxon Road toward North Branford," police said.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is urged to call the Police Department at 203-468-3820
"At this time, the condition of the pedestrian and further information regarding the evading vehicle is unknown. Updates will be provided as they become available," police added.
Police later shared video saying they are now looking for a silver Nissan SUV which fled westbound on Foxon Road toward New Haven. Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or operator identity is asked to call 203-468-3820.
