Popular Main Street To Frontage Road Cut-Through Shortcut Is No More
Bobby Crabtree Chevrolet, Lexus dealership, 655 Main St., now has its gates locked before/after business hours for "safety, security."

EAST HAVEN, CT — Most local drivers know the shortcuts. The way to get around traffic is by using side streets or cutting through parking lots to get from one road to another and avoid traffic.
Now, the Chevy dealer on Main Street has closed its gates outside of business hours, prohibiting drivers from cutting through its lot at 655 Main to get to Frontage Road.
The Bobby Crabtree Chevrolet and Lexus dealership said the measure is part of its "ongoing commitment to safety and security."
