ENFIELD, CT — On Election Day, I will proudly support Bob Hendrickson for State Representative in the 58th District, and I urge you to join me.

Bob is not your typical politician. Many of you remember him as the manager of ShopRite, as well as Shaw’s and Edwards before that. His extensive experience in running a large grocery store and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds will be a tremendous asset in Hartford, but there’s so much more to him.

Bob is a humble man who dedicates much of his time each week to the Enfield Food Shelf. He picks up donations, makes deliveries, and stocks shelves, going above and beyond to ensure the facility operates smoothly. When the Food Shelf relocated, Bob used his grocery management expertise to design a layout that resembles a grocery store, making it more user-friendly for those in need. As an accomplished handyman, he has built shelving and completed various projects to save the organization unnecessary costs, allowing them to better serve our community.

Currently serving on the Town Council for District 4, Bob demonstrates courage and conviction. He carefully considers all sides of an issue before making a decision. His commitment to keeping Enfield affordable is something he will take to Hartford.

Bob also runs his own small business, giving him a strong understanding of budgeting, expense management, and treating customers right. This experience provides him valuable insight into the challenges that inflation and the current economic climate pose for small businesses and families in Enfield. I trust that Bob will work tirelessly in Hartford to alleviate those burdens.

Having known Bob for some time, I can attest to his thoughtful and thorough approach. I believe that will serve us well in the legislature.

On Tuesday, November 5, please join me in voting for Bob Hendrickson for the 58th District on Row B.
