LETTER: Family Has Always Come First To Rick LeBorious

ENFIELD-EAST WINDSOR, CT — I’m thinking back to when I first met candidate Rick LeBorious. It was in the early 1970s when I first got involved in Enfield politics. The old timers (like me) will remember names like Dick Cressotti, Frank Mancuso, John Morrison, Armand Roy, Fred Gelsi and Realtus McCuin. These were just some of our politicians who cared more about what was good for Enfield rather than what was good for the party and their reelections. They were men who always acted in the best interests of our town. Rick LeBorious is in their league.
Rick, a small business owner, grew up in Enfield where he and his wife Betsy raised three children. To Rick and Betsy, family has always come first. To help care for Betsy’s aging parents, they moved to East Windsor, thus giving Rick and Betsy “two home towns.”
Rick is a person who puts family first. Issues that affect families like education, support from the state resulting in lower taxes, day care, and cost of living are items that are of paramount importance to Rick.
